Hello, I out myself in the bracket if someone trying to make some sense of modern life and preserve some distance. It is a tough ask when juggling a job, family life and seemingly mechanical behaviour ( I count myself in that but I try to be vigilant). it can be difficult not to become negative and despondent (although I think that is a mechanical reaction too). Thank you for your work and I have just purchased the book. Looking forward to reading it.
Thank you. I appreciate your comment and your support. Life is never black or white: there must always be some sort of organic balancing act, but right now the world is so overwhelmingly technophillic that sometimes people don't even understand that there is an alternative. And I tell people that the best solution isn't to reduce, reuse, and recycle, but to live more simply. I don't ask people to put undue hardship upon themselves, but for almost everyone I know who have bought less, lived more simply, and decoupled him/herself from the web of the technological system, great happiness has ensued. Even small changes make a difference. Imagine if every person made small changes: they would amount to great and profound results.
